Videographer Sukez flies high with international artists

Sukez, one of the country’s rare and flourishing youthful videographers has added America rapper Da’ T.R.U.T.H to his swelling list of international acts he has worked with for the past seven months.

With Da. T.R.U.T.H, Sukez, who is the founder and managing director of HD Plus Creations, said he has shot the music video titled Chasing Ghosts.  He described the development as a plus to his growing curriculum vitae (CV), as one of the country’s prolific and sought-after videographers. 

“It is encouraging to work with Da T.R.U.T.H in the short time he has been in the country. We had to work on a concept and executed it within four days. It was challenging but we had fun as we managed to shot his video in Mzimba and Lilongwe. We believe this video will help to put me and Malawi further on the map,” said Sukezi, whose real name is Gift Sukali.

The award-winning video director added that he was humbled to be approached by Da T.R.U.T.H to work on his video.

Before Da T.R.U.T.H, Sukez has also worked with over 10 international artists, including Zimbabwe’s Buffalo Soulja and T1nda, Lilly Million, Bigstar Johnson and Blaque Neubon from South Africa and Olivia from Zambia.

He said he was looking forward to break through on the international scene as far as video production is concerned. n
